Many pieces were exhibited at The Great Exhibition of 1851 in London, where Coalbrookdale displayed elaborate benches, tables, fountains, and urns, impressing visitors from around the world. The Coalbrookdale Company became renowned for producing highly ornate designs, often in the Victorian Gothic or Rococo Revival styles, with intricate patterns inspired by nature—grapevines, roses, ferns, and scrolling foliage.
